SC/FX wind direction sensor

1. Product Introduction

The SC/FX wind direction sensor is specifically designed to measure outdoor wind direction and is widely used in environmental protection, meteorology, agriculture and other fields. It is made of high-quality aluminum alloy and has undergone electroplating and plastic spraying treatment on the outside. It is rainproof, rust-proof and anti-aging. Even strong magnetic fields cannot interfere with it. It can distinguish the wind direction in sixteen directions. Most importantly, it is cheap and practical.

2. Main functions

The main task is to measure the wind direction. Not to mention the basic directions like east, south, west and north, the angular directions such as southeast, southwest, northwest and northeast can also be measured. In total, it can be divided into sixteen directions, which is quite detailed.

3. Core advantages

This sensor is outstanding in two aspects: Firstly, the material is tough. The aluminum alloy body combined with the electroplated and plastic-coated outer layer makes it rainproof, corrosion-resistant and anti-aging. It is not intimidated by strong magnetic fields and is durable and sturdy. Second, it offers high cost performance. All the necessary functions are available and the price is not expensive.

4. Technical parameters

The power supply voltage can range from DC12 to 24V. The output signal patterns are diverse, including voltage type (0-5V), current type (4-20mA), and digital type (RS485, RS232), all of which are supported. Even when the wind is a bit weak, it can still be measured. A starting wind speed of 0.5m/s is sufficient. It can measure the wind that rotates 360 degrees and divide it into sixteen directions. The systematic error is within ±3%! Left (MISSING) right. When wiring, check the output mode: the voltage and current are three-wire systems, while the digital system is four-wire. The working temperature range is quite wide, and it can operate from minus 20 degrees to plus 80 degrees. The power consumption is very low. The maximum power consumption for voltage type and digital type does not exceed 0.3W, and for current type, it is only 0.7W. It is very light, weighing less than 1 kilogram. The signal can be transmitted far, over 1,000 meters without any problem.

5. Size

From the picture, it can be seen that the chassis is a disc with a diameter of 60mm, and there are 4 installation holes on it, each with a diameter of 7mm. The entire sensor stands upright at a height of 155mm. The dimensions of other parts in the picture are also marked quite clearly. Just dress according to them.
