(1) Core Technologies and System Architecture

By adopting millimeter-wave radar sensor technology and through the design of multi-transmission and multi-reception antennas, it accurately detects obstacles within 0.5 to 30 meters (the smallest can recognize a 15mm steel wire rope), and acquires distance and speed in real time
Parameters such as degree and Angle. The system is composed of a main control host, radar sensors, display terminals and networking modules, supporting CAN bus data transmission to ensure stable signals.

(2) Multi-scenario anti-collision function

By networking through a wireless bridge, the positions and movement data of multiple tower cranes can be shared in real time. A warning will be issued when the distance between two tower cranes reaches 15 to 30 meters, and an automatic shutdown command will be output when the distance is 5 to 10 meters.
Intelligent obstacle recognition
For large obstacles such as buildings, truck cranes and crawler cranes, a warning will be issued when they are 10 meters away and the machine will stop when they are 5 meters away. Support the boundary limit of the operation area to prevent the boom from intruding into risky areas such as roads and residential areas.
Adaptation to harsh environments
It has the capabilities of anti-fog, anti-dust and anti-electromagnetic interference, supports wide temperature operation from -20 ℃ to 70℃, and meets the all-weather construction requirements.

In the operation of special lifting equipment, the overhead crane, as the core transportation tool, is exposed to complex and changeable working environments as well as high safety risks. The traditional anti-collision methods that rely on manual observation have problems such as limited field of vision and delayed response, making it difficult to deal with dynamic obstacles (such as pedestrians and equipment), which can easily lead to collision accidents and threaten personnel safety and equipment operation. With the increase in the volume of work, the demand for driving safety and intelligence is urgent, and it is imperative to achieve precise monitoring and proactive protection through technological upgrades.

This system is mainly divided into two parts: anti-collision for multiple cranes on the same track and anti-collision for cranes on upper and lower layers.

Multiple types of anti-collision systems

(1) Core technical architecture

Lidar scanning system

High-precision lidars (with a single coverage radius of 20 meters and an accuracy of ±2cm) are installed at both ends of the main beam. They conduct 360° hemispherical spatial scanning to collect point cloud data in real time and construct a three-dimensional space

The model accurately identifies the position, distance and movement trajectory of obstacles.

(2) Preset three-level security zones: Information zone (1m), Warning zone (0.8m), and Alarm zone (0.5m), supporting dynamic adjustment of background parameters (security password required).

Intelligent video surveillance system

Four Hikvision high-definition cameras are deployed, covering the driving track, the large vehicle operation area and the top. They support automatic zooming and switching in collision risk areas, and the video is synchronized in real time to the driver's cab display screen. The recorded video is saved for 72 hours for future reference.

Sound and light alarm and data management
